A basic Shadow 2 is a nice pistol. You will probably change hammer springs to get the DA pull down and perhaps the recoil spring. For USPSA type shooting I don't think that the Orange offers any accuracy advantage. If you have the money the Orange is a nice gun--I have a Shadow 2 and dry fired the Orange.
